So our little guy is walking better every day and we caught this last night right before we went up to bed. We let him go nakey (nervously) and he just was running around like crazy! Sooo Funny!

Bachelorette Week 5: Does this Arctic Outfit make me look Fat?

    They start by writing poems to Ali. EHYUCK! But I thought the guys were pretty good sports about it. I bet Kasey is at the lead of the pack since he writes love songs every five minutes lol. I cant believe that they are judging these things for a date. Silly!

    poor Ali. This wardrobe week is NOT in her favor. Those HUGE jackets and fluffy things DONT make her look very nice!

   Kasey started his poem and Chris L starts making fun of his voice. It was HILARIOUS! I LOVE Chris! His poem was by far the one that was the most practiced and by that I mean...he writes stuff like this ALOT! WEIRD! He needs to go. This is just making him look like a crazy and no girl will touch him with a 10 foot poll after this.

  Who is this guy...Chris N??!? He pops up out of nowhere....pretty bad.

  Frank pretty much kicked everyones booty as far as poetry and funniness. Im pretty sure that the poems that made Ali LAUGH were the ones that won!


   anyways, Kirk wins! He is a good guy. They get along great. Supposedly he has this BIG secret past. Turns out that his secrets are that he almost died from Mold exposure! WHAT! Why was he sooo guarded about that. I thought he had a kid or dated a celebrity. Maybe he just wanted to play it so that he didnt get the sympathy vote. Welllll....ya did! I think he feels like a failure, coming from such an "accomplished" background and getting sooo sick. I know because I can relate.

  So two guys were put into the 2 on 1 date. Justin and Kasey. I think Kasey will kill himself if he is sent home. I havent seen a guy this delusional for a looooong! He builds up those fantasies like no other! Oye! Justin on the other hand is such a jerk. All he cares about is "competition" and lets face it. At this point thats ALL he has to focus on because Ali has STOPPED trying with him..

   Dont you think that in this season, there is a TON more focus put on just a select group instead of everyone? Theres a lot more people that I have had NO idea who they are this season. I guess Jake had a generally SHALLOW technique that dabbled a LITTLE bit on every girl. Oh, by the way...Jake and vienna broke up! Like Yesterday! lol....YAY for shallowness! BTW, being married to a pilot, there is NO way that Vienna could have handled it. Its hard keeping your man physically on the ground let alone mentally!


   So they get out on the icy plains and ride these little Iceland ponies! Poor Chris and his horsey. The saddle starts falling off and he whines like crazy! Ty comes up and saves the day.

" I think Ty was born on a horse....He's galloping around like hes gonna save the world on this thing"....Chris L.

Definitely some angst but mostly playful jabber i think........



Justin gets his cast off and gets a boot put on so that he can walk. He said something that was a HUGE NO no....

   " Thats one small step for Justin and one HUGE leap for Rated R"

Shouldnt you be Justin if you are here as yourself. he's totally the jerk that has two girlfriends that he has convinced to stay with him while he placates them. WHAT IDIOTS girls can be sometimes!

  BTW if Ali uses the word "amazing" ONE MORE TIME!!!!! Ahhh.

 Of course they have to have a strip down scene to temp these guys just a little more. These poor guys. They must be Sooooo sexually frustrated. There I said it.


  Frank has pretty much submarined himself on this date. He stood back and pouted while other guys went with the flow. He is confirming my original feelings about him. He is wayyyy to moody. He cannot date more than one girl at a time. He's the type where he thinks he found fate after one date and focuses on it for month and months but not in a way that is as stalkerish as Kasey.

  OK ok...I get the swim suit scene... NEXT!


Ty got the " I am capable rose" of the night!


  So Kasey and Justin go on this date and Kasey says something that, even though he is carzy, he is right about. He says that justin is here to promote himself and all this other stuff that is totally true! While this guy is wayyy to into the cheesy side of romance, he at least can recognize and analyze a situation accurately.

  Kasey is given the boot and left alone on this glacier while Justin and Ali ride of in a helicopter... OUCH!

Bachelorette week 4: What we need is just ONE more guitar player in this house!

  Sorry this is wayyy late. Some things happened this week that were more important than writing a blog on The Bachelorette!

 

The title is a quote from Kirk near the end of the show. It pretty much sums it up!  I thought there were many funny moments throughout the 4th installment of junior high drama club.

  We start with all the guys being flown to NYC. They are all super excited about it.  I think they are just really sick of being in that house in LA.

   Ali goes ahead of the guys and gets all dolled up. I think the designer guy was scratching his head at what to actually do for Ali. They gave her MOSTLY HEINUS clothes. There were a couple of cute dresses, but that TOGA she came out in?!? EWE! I really picture ali with a pony tail and big glasses at the end of the day. Have you ever seen "Cloudy with a chance of Meatballs"? She reminds me of the weather girl. NERD! Oh well. Thats ok.

   So they get there and find Ali waiting for them in the Lion King theater. Turns out Ali and one of her minions are going to be featured in the show. Roberto was the lucky man. They proceeded to learn how to perform their  aerial wire sex scene. Were they supposed to embody the circle of life? hmmm....Over all I think they did a good job, but was it considered a date? hmmmm again. All these "dates" are these extreme moments of craziness that viewers are meant to buy in to. In reality dates like those are well....unrealistic.


  Kasey gets a one on one date with Ali and I have NO IDEA why. Oh wait, maybe i have an idea. I am convinced that the producers pick a guy...or two and make it "their" episode. This one was alll about Kasey and Chris L.

   So Kasey and Ali go on a date to the Museum. The WHOLE time I wanted to punch, drop kick and strangle him....and Ali....just cause she's really annoying! You know those people who "plan" moments. They look up clever things to say in the event that they might have the opportunity to say them? Thats Kasey. While Ali knows that he is kinda wierd she just keeps playing it on! STUPID! She clearly cant stand being with him. The WHOLE time she is making faces and making it VERY clear that she is uncomfortable.  Kasey starts singing her songs that he has made up about his time there. When are guys going to learn that singing for a girl is NOT COOL! It is weird! PLUS...his voice is the most annoying voice I have heard in a while. it sounds like someone has been dripping acid onto his vocal chords since birth.  I think Ali explained his feelings wrong though. His feelings ARE genuine, just freakishly uncalled for at this point. I hope she is just keeping him around because the producers said so...(im pretty sure thats the case) She hasnt looked that awkward on a date since Hunter.

   Now its Chris L's turn! I LOVE this guy!  I know a lot of people are on the Roberto train but I think Chris is awesome! He wants the All American dream. I think anyone who has lost their mom has a deep deep understanding of what is important in life. He goes and takes care of her but they wind up going on this date to a posh NY club.  This is more of the kind of date where you actually feel like you can make a connection.  All in all, Chris is a fav of mine. I think they would be cute together!

   Back at the house its time for another cocktail party. Ali comes in and I LOVE her black pant suit thing. It brings me back to my pageant days and I woulda killed for a pant suit like that for an event!
She gets sat down by Kasey and he ALMOST shows her his TATOO! This guy went and got tattooed in honor of his manhood and Ali. FREAK! Frank is weird for showing such interest in this guy. He's shoving his nose into the wrong place. I think its cause he is bored and wants to be part of the drama. You know, like those people who want to take charge if and when anybody gets hurt. Anyways, Frank walks in on Kasey and Ali right before Kasey shows her his tattoo. WHY Frank? Well, if you look back it looks like the producers shoved him on set. I dont know about you but I was ready for KAsey to go home. Is the next episode that boring to where you need to keep the freakazoid around.

 So the lucky two to be let go are Jonathan and Jesse. Yeah yeah, everyone thinks the weather guy is annoying but I will kinda miss him and his "i am a failure" attitude. He was in a way the plucky comic relief. Yes, he was a puny little man who tried oh so hard to fit in with the likes of rated R, but I feel for him. Everyone thinks he is gay when he is not. Everyone cant stand him. So sad. he says he doesnt think he'll ever find love when he gets in the car to leave, but all he will really have to do is join a church and he'll be married off in no time. are you reading this Jonathan? NO, but anyways....GO TO CHURCH!

  Poor Jesse. I think he wore that gosh awful jean shirt last week as a statement. He is a total hick! All he wants to do is own acreage and cows. Yeah...no wonder Ali booted him. She grew up in SF! There is no way she would be down for that. The only cows she has ever seen were when she drove down the I-5 to LA.  His line was great... " Really, Im gonna be honest, I cant wait to see my dogs!"

Giggles N Wiggles

   When did my baby boy grow up? I think its really hard for parents to realize that the capabilities of their children do not stay at "crying, pooping, peeing and making cute faces". Tonight we had Shrek on. Usually we dont let Jackson stare too much at the Tv....but out of nowhere he starts cracking up at Donkey! I was like..wait, is he laughing at the movie? He was...he did it repeatedly! It was hilarious!  Then he started dancing to the songs!  He LOVES to dance! He is also starting to realize that he can walk! He looks like me walking after surgery...so I know EXACTLY what he is going through. In time. All in time. Oh that boy. He is an amazing gift!

Soooo Frustrated with my body right now!

   So as if I needed another road block in front of the getting into shape train...my own body is declaring war on me. A lot of it is girly stuff that I wont go into if you know what I mean, but lets just say I skipped aunt flow for 4-5 months because of my thyroid and now that I am on some meds, we are trying to figure out things. Today I had yet MORE proof that my body is WACO! Im sooo over it. I was SOOO regular before I got pregnant. I could call the day and time before. Now Im just WISHING for a period because it makes me feel better if I have one.

  The worst thing is, is that it messes with your fertility so bad. I know I am over reacting and that my thyroid will hopefully level out (even though I am in the top 10% of "this probably wont happen to you, and it does" my whole life). After another irregular setback today I got more concerned. I looked up online about wacky things having to do with girly shtuff and hypothyroid.

    Dude...Like birth defects n stuff can happen ...huh what?!? And thats IF you can get preggo at all. Talk about freaked out. YES, I shouldnt have looked online and I DO need to give my body a lot of time to heal from almost dying a year ago.

   NO worries...We werent planning on having another for a while, but still...I just dont like feeling soooo out of it. Its like the CORE of your body. It controls everything and I dont feel like I can escape. Sooo, Im going to head in for another round of dr's visits. Ill be coordinating with my mainland doctors, faxing them all of my info. Hopefully one of these days (soon) this will all be in the past. Until then....Ill be praying for a Godly cure!

Getting Ready for An Owly Event

                                  
  So I went to the only arts n crafts store on the island and spent a butt load on owly things for jackson's party! Ive been pretty busy cutting cupcake holders out and stamping little things to go around the house. I made jackson's party hat but am not all done. Heres a sneak peak at what i have done already!

Week 3: Kiss me, Im easy.

   Ali goes on a date with Roberto to the heights of LA. They start by flying straight from the house in a helicopter. I guess Ali is scared of flying...?!? Its a good thing that Jake didnt pick her actually. Being married to a pilot, Im pretty sure it'd be a HUGE turn off if I hated flying. Just sayin...How come they didnt make a big deal of her hating flying last season?

So they pull up to a high rise in La. They head up and proceed to walk across a high wire. Wait, Ali is scared of flying but takes on a TIGHT ROPE like a million feet high with no fear?

 Hmm. So they go across and stop half way and kiss. Yeah its memorable but how much can you enjoy a kiss when you are barely hanging on for your life? They get across and have a dinner on top of the other building. Then they finish the night with a cuddle fest. 

Overall thoughts of Roberto: He will be here for a long while!!

Music video time with the ...Bare Naked Ladies. I dont know about you all but man that is just something I always have wanted to do! not really. I love how the guys were all like..."I CANT believe im going to be in a bare naked ladies video! YES!" Really? 

In this segment, the guys and Ali make a steamy video about Ali running away from relationships. Every guy was pretty into it since they got to kiss her. All accept FuhRank~! Poor guy He was the guy who got slapped. Not once, not twice but NINE times! He was pretty butt hurt about it.  He's proving to be a little ahemmmm...crazy. He thinks that Ali is HIS like literally. He is being a girl about seeing her make out with other guys. STOP acting like Ali is the ONLY girl in the world that could possibly be the one for you! If she is making out and acting trashy then I wouldnt even care about the "show". Just know that you wouldnt marry someone who did that in real life. Get your head out of the game and move on if your going to be that hurt about it. PuhLEEZE!                

Let me just talk about Kirk and Ali. They had a scene where they were in bed together. They rolled around and made out like no one was watching but I got the impression that Kirk is a bit of a man whore. He looked WAY to natural rolling around with Ali in that bed. EWE. Not to mention that Ali is playing the role of a hussy very well. Man this girl can KISS! 

Poor Jonathan.

He had a part where he had to kiss her. OH MAN! He started sweating as soon as he got the script! Im pretty sure that he has NEVER had a girlfriend(who wasnt just a friend). First thing he says to Ali is..." I just want you to know, if your not comfortable with this, you dont have to kiss me." WHAT?!? Shes kissed like 9 guys in the last 20 minutes. Basically he was saying... "IM not comfortable with this so YOUR gonna have to do the kissing." In the end Ali took pitty on the taunted and ridiculed man and gave him a kiss the made him go from 6 to midnight.  Dont think he's gay, just has a bit of a complex from ALWAYS being the awkward guy at the party. He's good looking and has it together, just is socially retarded!

Moving on.

One on One with Who?

Hunter. This guy is not attractive in my opinion. He and Ali went on a stay at home date and grilled burgers. Lets face it. The producers knew he would go home so they didnt want to spend money on his date with Ali. Their assumptions were proven correct. Hunter was Awkward, weird and unapproachable. He even hinted at being ok with being a "stay at home dad"..which I think Ali was less than impressed with. SHE wants to be the stay home queen, doted upon and barefoot and preggo...shopping at Fashion Island after lunch with the girls.

Needless to say, she opted out on giving him a rose and he went home.

Ali met up with the guys back at the mansion for the rose ceremony cocktail party. Roberto quickly made it his business to tell Ali that he did not trust Justin. What is it with these tattle talers?

 It wasnt attractive when Ali did it to Jake and its still not now. Ali has to completely understand though since she was the one doing last season. Its soo annoying and why would you take the focus off of you and put it on another guy? Bad move. Ali then shares that Justin came up to her house...hobbling i should say. Roberto was shocked and looked like a 75 yr old yaya from church with a juicy piece of gossip. He coudnt wait to tell the other guys.

BTW

Justin going to see Ali.."off the books" was a HUGE slap in the face to the other guys who are playing by the rules. This guy is a rule breaker, thats for sure.  We'll see what other rules he breaks later on. As for now, I think he is a punk and producers are loving the drama her creates.

So roberto goes back and tells the others about Justin's sneakiness.

Man were those guys madder than a flock of wet hens. There is soooo much tension in that house. Allll that testosterone is killin them! Half of them look like they want or need to punch holes in the walls. They all confronted Justin, or should I say...openly talked trash on him till he walked in and basically its clear that Justin is the outcast.

This guy has a gay lisp thats bugged me from day 1 but it seems that he was a cool "one of the guys" type of guy.

Steve

This guy was not attractive what so ever. Im not surprised Ali sent him packing. If I were Ali I would have just eliminated guys based on attraction till its even semi possible to get to know them. How do you get to know 25 guys? ELIMINATE!

The next episode is promising to be a bit more entertaining as Kasey shows up with bandages on his wrists. Is he the crazed obsessed bf that the producers are making him out to be? We will see.

Jackson's Bday!

Wow. I cant believe that a year has past. Seriously, I know every mom says that but really...Wow! Almost exactly a year ago was my shower...

Thinking about how much fun it was to be surrounded by all of those who love us makes me so grateful for our loved ones and close friends.

I had NO idea that I would be delivering Jackson in just a few short weeks. I had no idea how sick I was. 

So anyhow...For his party I am doing Owls! 

I just LOVE the cute things people are doing with owls these days. Im obsessed with the store...This Little Piggy Wears Cotton... They have this owl print that is to die for...

arent they darling?!? 

For his party however I wanted a little more of an angelic owl.

   So for many households this amazing coffee maker has already been apart of the kitchen collection, but we have only just discovered its amazing wonders. I knew what I wanted to get Evan for Fathers day and I just couldnt wait. thats ok...cause neither could he. I cant believe how awesome this thing is. Not only does it not require the usual filter and grinding and all that but it makes TEA! I LOVE TEA! We were also really impressed to find that it can use your own coffee or tea in their own little cartridge thing.

    So needless to say we have been enjoying this thing every day. If you havent gotten one yet, I HIGHLY recommend it for a fathers day gift! I got it at Costco.  Let me assure it makes those rough mornings just a little less rough and those relaxing evenings just a little more relaxing!
