Well dang.

So many of you know already but our latest job venture and exit plan did not work out....which makes the entire previous post sound SO exhausting and wasteful, but at least we were prepared.

We got an email Monday saying the position had been filled. No San Fran for us. Needless to say it was a huge disappointment for us. We had our day of crying and anger. We just laid low and are still laying pretty low. We are really taking in the bonding time that comes from experiencing sadness together. Talking for hours and trying to keep our hearts from getting too discouraged and turning the hurt into fueling a productive fire.

Our family and friends have been the sweetest ever with their love and concern. Dinner invitations and an outpouring of genuine care for us has been truly amazing. Shows us exactly what we have right here in front of us.

Now we are just recovering, regrouping and picking up the pieces of chaos. As we had planned, we didnt get rid of anything we could not live without. We have our house, car, basic furniture. We are still really blessed.

The Good News

We have CASH! After all of that selling we have a nice chunk of change. Both Evan and I have had our retail therapy to help regain some normalcy here. We got Jackson a beautiful new full size bed and gorgeous head board. We re-painted his room. Got him a train table to replace a lot of his toys (which he was outgrowing anyways). We are all good.

Time to re-organize

Im now left with a house that has been torn apart. Its really really hard for me to live in a mess. It makes me feel "upset" and crazy. Part of the problem is that I am so exhausted from the last month. I think Im going to call in the help of my girlfriends for this one. I just cant do it all on my own. ESPECIALLY with category 5 hurricane Jackson and his partner in crime, category 3 hurricane Ev...hehe sorry honey. We'll get there...just in time for the holidays.

Id like to say that we learned some big lesson from this. More like a bunch of little tweeks. We have been through this before. We just have had our hearts hardened that much more. We have set rules for ourselves and for our protection if a situation like this occurs again. I have laid down some rules of my own (mostly for myself to follow). We are mostly just trying to love each other through it and recognize grumpiness for what it really is. We all are kinda on edge so apologies are important and hugs and kisses are paramount. Weve been through worse, but count ourselves lucky that we know what living real life is like. There's something very invigorating about living life in its raw form, free of ruts and static relationships.

Gods Plan

I dont write about this lightly. For people who believe in this plan it is understood immediately that a huge burden is lifted of our shoulders. I truly believe that God's plan is real. I was TRULY healed last Sunday from a horrible back injury through prayer. That was a huge sign from the Lord that He was there to carry me through. The reason I don't write lightly of the Lord's plan is because those who do not understand completely may brush it off because its so commonly referred to in times like this. No one understands more than I do how annoying it is when you feel that someone is just preaching at you. Let me share with you my friends from the bottom of my heart. This is how I have lived for the past two years, this being a more stressful instance. We trust in the Lord for our big picture. There are so many things that we try to control in our lives. From routines to careers. We just cant do it all. There are those that fool themselves into thinking they have it all under control or even those that put on an extreme front that they have it under control. Something almost ALWAYS suffers. Usually its relationships. If the only reward of living on faith has been the solidity of our marriage, Ill take that with every piece of gratitude in me. Certain life experiences we have had have put us in a constant state of uncertainty and instability. This kind of life makes it easier to let go and trust in Gods plan. What else can we do? We do believe so its all we can do. It all gets messed up when we over plan things. I tried to pre-plan this entire move/job thing and was reminded that no matter how much I try to prepare, the Lord is still the only constant in my variable life. Dont get me wrong, Im glad we prepared...Im just realizing that maybe the Lord is tightening His grip on us just a bit more and letting us know that we can NEVER afford to stop trusting in Him the way we have been out of desperation. We ALWAYS need to be desperate for His plan even when the Bank account is overflowing and life is entirely under "control". I crave stability. I WANT it so badly. Sometimes I almost feel like when we land that better job with health care and a stable pay check we will be finished with this terrible feeling of eeking by month after month. I know that's an illusion but its an easy feeling to fall into. I know that when money is not a problem, other things arise that can be more damaging to your character. Whichever way you look at it, Evan and I see life this way...

We are grateful for our healthy and loving marriage, our loving healthy son, our family and friends, our job, our beautiful home and everything we have...left, our church family, Gods creation, new beginnings, fresh paint, divine appointments..everything little thing in our lives...but mostly we are thankful for a life lived on the Lord. As a married couple seeking hope for a better future, there is no better way to lift that care off our our shoulders. We trust in God and the big picture that only He can see. We love each other passionately and never give up on resolving even a seemingly small hurt feeling keeping that mole hill from turning into a mountain. We want to better ourselves physically and know that we can only do it when we both are on board. There's no judgement for failure but encouragement for success and love in between. We want better things for our life but know that now is a time of healing a preparation both physically and mentally.

So here we are. Still on this gorgeous island surrounded by God's constant reminder of creation and new life. You think Hes trying to tell us to soak it in while we can? Maybe. I think He's telling us many things. Now its time to sit quietly for a while and listen.

A little Miracle to report

So last week I fell really hard while running around at my moving sale. I was emptying an ice chest and slipped like those cartoon characters do on a banana peel. Landed on my left side. I shook it off and other than some soreness that week, didnt feel too much pain.

Friday I went over to hang with some friends in the spa. We sat in that spa talking for about 2 hours. The whole time I had the jets blowing on my back. That night as I drove home I began having extreme back pain. All my muscles were spasming. Saturday was a painful day but our going away party kept me distracted a bit. I couldnt sleep and was scheduled to play violin at church. I got up around 530 and went in the living room. I sat there sobbing. It felt like a joke. After everything that we have been through, that I have been through....I get hurt while relaxing in a spa?!

I sat there contemplating wheither I should go to the hospital or play at church since it was probably our last sunday there. I HAD to go to church. I got to rehearsal and immediately began writhing in pain. I leaned forward a bit and my muscles spasmed so bad i felt like someone had kicked me in the back. I couldnt help but start sobbing again. I walked out to avoid worry from people. Rowena, the first amazing lady who welcomed us every sunday since our first day at LMC, came up and put her hand on my back and prayed. Then one of my best friends here, Sheila, came up and prayed for my back. I walked back into the sanctuary and Ana was there. She also prayed over my back.

My sweet friend Sara came and brought me some pain meds to get through the service. THANK GOD! After the service, my dearest friend Melissa came and prayed with me. We both were sobbing and Ill never forget how loving and tender her heart was for me at that moment.

I was still in quite a bit of pain as I drove back home. As I stepped out of my car and walked into my house, my spasms suddenly stopped. I hadn't taken a pain med since 9 am and it was 1:30.

I cannot tell you enough how painful this was for me. Back pain is by far the WORST pain anyone can experience. Made my knee pain disappear haha...but seriously, this was a miracle for me. While I am not completely pain free yet, having the spasms stop is a miracle. I had NO idea how I was going to function with the upcoming events...

Thank you ladies for covering me in your prayer. Prayer is real. I am so grateful for answered prayer. Still praying.

How to sell your "life"

If anyone is going to make a huge move I highly recommend the sell everything method.

we have been on both sides of the coin, meaning, we have shipped everything and we are selling everything.

Many don't understand how we can stand to do this and believe me it has certainly been a process emotionally for me. Bartering a wedding gift away at a moving sale or seeing the crib that my little boy has grown up in for the past 2 years go away has been anything but simple or easy.

That being said, I still am confident we are doing the right thing.

When we moved here to Kauai, we shipped EVERYTHING and i mean EVERYTHING. SO stupid. Not only did that result in a $15k moving expense, our things being held hostage in Oahu and our tv stolen..but we had to sift through hundreds of boxes...some of which are still not unpacked all the way. When approaching this possible move we decided it was just "stuff" and that a new life was worth selling everything and starting fresh. I lost some full nights of sleep over it, but God gave me a definite answer. Even the things that I was going to ship somehow became part of the auction block.

So what are some of the things I have learned during this endeavor?

1. Start Early

Even if the move is not for certain, if there is a chance that you might be moving...START ELIMINATING!
Its good to do this even if you arent moving! Clean spaces to fill with new things eventually are Good!
I have been clearing out things that we can live without for about a month and a half now. It feels very good to look around amidst moving chaos and have clutter disappear.

2. Moving sales & Craigslist

These 2 things will be your fastest money making avenues when moving.

I sell all the big things that I dont want to have to drag out and in of the house on Craigslist. Here on Kauai its pretty easy. People LOVE good deals and quality furnishings.

For all the smaller things that will take too long to post individually, a moving sale is a must. WARNING WARNING WARNING...this option is NOT EASY. While a great way to make a quick $300 off little things, the moving sales have been the most tiring and taxing venture. When its just the 2 of us...nope 3 of us which means you have to subtract 1 adult...Its nearly impossible. I started them early and have had them nearly every Saturday. That has helped us rake in about $2500 off of little things. Let me tell you. We had to work for every dollar. From dealing with cheapskates to plane ol rude people ...takes its tole and by the time the clock hits noon...I am dripping in sweat and am completely "talked" out. When you feel like you have done all you can to sell the little things, its time to stop and conserve your energy for the final push...Moving day.

The easiest way to do this is divide your things into categories. Trash. Donation. Keep.

Try and get one truck for each category by calling in the troops of friends and family...in our case church family...

Label each truck bed...Trash....Church...Salvation army

The best thing to do is to decide before hand on what you are keeping. NOTHING on that day should be in the keep pile. It makes it too complicated for the people helping you. In our case, we are planning on shipping some boxes with irreplaceable items and paperwork via USPS parcel post, saving us thousands in container fees. We will be at the airport with about 6 pieces of luggage and carseats.

So at the end of the day each truck goes to their destination and your house is emptied.

Since our house will likely be empty before we actually fly out, we are planning on spending a couple nights or a night at a hotel with some of our earnings. That way we wont have to worry about beds or anything. We will likely only have Evans work truck at that point so we will be planning a hand off at the airport.

So thats it folks. This is what has been occupying nearly my whole being for the last 1.5 months. Thinking out every last detail in the event that we actually are moving. Ill leave you with these words... Nothing is for certain, but those who are not willing to sacrifice and prepare for change will never achieve it.

Why I broke up with facebook...

Well well....it has been about 5 years that I have been on fb. Without a single break. That's a long time! We have been through a lot together. Engagement, wedding, almost dying, baby, moving...etc. Its a place to vent and its a place to rejoice and keep in touch. Its also a place where feelings get hurt and people take things way too seriously. It creates mass panic in seconds and can change some one's life with a click of a button. Pretty powerful huh? Its kinda like facebook is GOD to some people. What would happen if it was gone tomorrow? What would the world do? Well they would create something to replace it that's for sure.

It may sound like I am pretty pessimistic as far as facebook use goes. Well I'm no one to judge so I wont but here are my honest feelings. It seems like people are one or the other these days. You either are obsessed or you avoid it like the plague. I was talking to my friend this morning about it and I think that we are in a season of life where HUGE...absolutely HUGE things are happening. Our world is turning upside down for the better (so i guess that would be right side up)...and the posts on facebook all seem so trivial to me. NO offense at all to anyone. Its just that the life that we are living right now absolutely demands a certain serious nature that not everyone can understand. I think we are in need of some privacy when it comes to someone else knowing everything about your life. I feel like all we have energy for is REAL life. don't have time to waste on the Internet or emotional energy to waste on the thoughtless comments someone writes JUST to put their 2 cents in. They don't really care about you...just want to tell you what to do...or share a "concern"...LIKE WE DIDN'T ALREADY THINK OF IT. I know you all know what I mean because it happens to everyone. I don't care what anyone says..that takes away a piece of your positive attitude and "joy". So this is what i say... DON'T MAKE IT THEIR BUSINESS!!! Yes Facebook does not hold a gun to your head when it comes to status updates but its too much of a temptation in the narcissistic world we are in. We need a pick me up so we fish for them with a status update. We want sympathy we fish for it. When we need to vent frustrations, we fish for validation. like I said I am guilty too!

Recently I saw just how mean people can be to one another on fb. It literally made me feel sick to my stomach..that a sister in Christ could treat another so poorly and with such insensitivity. My mouth was on the floor. Its all OK though because this certain person just put a smiley face at the end of her razor words. WHAT? NOT OK! Its these same people who try and play the game of popularity and use fb as a tool to make others feel alienated and unaccepted. Posting pics the day after an event to rub it into every ones face that they weren't invited...I am seriously baffled by the jr high behavior that certain women achieve 5 gold stars in daily. A+++ to you. You demoted yourself back to jr high. Well you know what you can either take the abuse or get away from it.

So taking a step back in the midst of this chaos I clearly see that it this is NOT part of a healthy lifestyle. That is just my opinion, but it is my hope that many will feel supported in a decision to take a break and re center themselves as loving human beings capable of much more than the convenience that facebook offers. We truly need to love one another. Lift each other up. Be encouraging...and there are MANY ways to do that other than a facebook message or post. So I encourage all who read this to at least limit your time on fb. Maybe even for just a week go off of it. See what happens. The sad reality is that its not the safe place you thought it was. Not very many people are going to miss you enough to call or write or even email you. So ask yourself why you spend so much time caring about their every little move? Don't spread your heart so thin that it becomes as shallow as a puddle. Invest in yourself till you are as powerful as the ocean, a place of limitless discoveries and possibilities.

Praying for God's Divine guidance and always for Blessings on you all...

Happy 3 year Anniversary to us!

It was this time three years ago that we were getting ready to promise ourselves to each other forever. Many people say, man, i cant believe its been three years! Well, we honestly feel like it has been truly about 3 years hahaha. Sometimes more but not in a bad way. We have just fit a lot of living into those three years and are STOKED on it!

Anyways, back to that fabulous day! We had the best weather Princeville had seen in a while. My florist asked me if I had a plan B as far as getting married on the beach..NOT realllly. Didn't come all the way over here to get married on a patio! Thank Goodness we didn't have to address it! Not a rain cloud!

Us gals got in the limo from the Lihue Marriott and headed up there while Ev went and got the jeep (which cost more than the limo haha). The boys had their room and we had ours! A cool story that most may not know is the story of how our Aunt and Uncle became a bridesmaid and groomsman!

My brother and his wife have the sweetest children who were our ring bearer and flower girl. So sad that they got so so sick at the airport and could not make it to the wedding. Then we thought...well why not have Carla and Kipper join in?! It was genious! My brother sent the suit and dress over as fast as he could but we didnt know if it would get there in time. They DID! at 2 oclock that afternoon! Leaving about 2 hours before the wedding! We were so so stoked and I will always remember how special it was having them in our ceremony. It was truly a family affair.

We had a great time getting ready in the rooms. I could see them setting up the ceremony from our room. I was on edge because the pillars I had designed were not staying up. My florist was going to give up but my dad stayed down there and made sure that they were the way I wanted. He is an amazing man.

It was time to head down to get married! I met my dad at the end of the path. We walked down the sand to Canon in D and I met my prince in marriage. It was a dream!

Three years later here is what we have done hehe...

Moved to Long Beach
Thought we would be in the marines .....nooope.
Finished school
Got pregnant
Moved to Villa Park
Ev finished Riddle
Thought we would be in the navy....NOoope
Had Jackson 2 months early
Moved to Kauai
Had a knee replacement in LA ( 3 months)
Had thyroid treatment in OC ( 2months)
Got through 4 months of not being paid last summer
Started ComfyCozyBoutique
Been in the process with the army for about oh 9 months...we are almost there!

I think thats about it... minus a couple trips back and forth to Orange County.

The Beast!

So I finally finished the big beast of a sofa cover! For all of you who know how hard it is to find nice furniture on this rock, you will understand my pain.

We found a great sectional but the color was well...putrid, grosse, GOLD! ewe. HOWEVER, this couch is one of the most comfortable couches ever. Solution? couch cover!

Went and got a million yards of white duck cloth. Started with the body of the couch then worked through each couch cushion.

When it was all done it still needed something. I went to try and find throw pillows somewhere, anywhere! There really isnt much worth talking about. I found some nice drapes and the fabric was descent. I used 2 fabric panels to create what will be 4 pillows ( I ran out of fluff).

I LOVE them and they are super comfy.

So there you have it! We are super stoked at how it turned out!

Hey there!

Hi and yes I have neglected the blog world. Oh well.

I have been thinking about it though =) Heres a little post in hoping that it will encourage me to go for more and more.

So lately we have been trying to get back in the swing of things after vacations, visitors and hectic jobs. We are always trying to get back in the healthy lifestyle mode it seems. I have been detoxing from a number of things...which I will get into in a longer post but dang, I have been having the most vivid dreams!

The other night I dreamt that our neighborhood was on fire. The fire was heading toward our house but I guess we had plenty of time to pack because EVERYTHING was out of the house and ready to go. BUT wait, as soon as the firemen came around the corner to protect our house, I HAD to go back in to get non other than the Organic milk for Jackson and the oh so important spinach dip.

This is just one of the things that I thought was funny from my crazy dreams. Yay Withdrawls!

Oh and last night I woke evan up to talk about crown molding...hmmmm.

Gotta Laugh!

Our Osama Opinion..Caution: Extremely Conservative Content.

My Youngin Hubby and about 1/3 of his Platoon in Iraq

This post may irritate or offend some, but this is not personal and is mostly directed at the media...

A lot of people have been sharing their views on Osama being killed. We should celebrate, we shouldn't celebrate. Yada yada.

The fact is that I am actually quite offended at people who put their own selfish opinions above the reality that is striking against our military. The reason i am so fired up about this is because my husband was one of those men. I know i have sung his praises before, but I don't think that Evan ever should stop being appreciated for what he and countless other men and women did. Maybe its because i know the stories in detail. Maybe its because I love him so much, but I cant stand the lack of respect some people show to our servicemen while at the same time they "thank" them on Veterans day. That's not Patriotism. That's like going to church 2 times a year on Christmas and Easter and saying you a devout follower... wont mention a religion because I'm being PC. Ok, That's about all the PC i have...

Let me throw a name out at ya...

Hitler.

This man was equally as evil as Osama Bin Laden but in different ways and in a different era. He killed millions because it was easier to do back then. No one could report to the news about it and have it broad casted around the world on utube in 30 seconds. He took advantage of the poor and hungry of that time turning them into devout followers. They felt protected under this madman.

Osama is no different. He hates Christians and Americans. yes my friends that is you and me. you are probably one or the other. he would have taken pleasure in killing you if he had the chance. You are no more special than the vermin that infest their land. Its just a lot harder to carry out a mass extermination these days.

So.... Hitler. When he was dead, did we as Americans question whether or not to celebrate? Did we ask if the attack was legal? Were wives and mothers not eager to have their loved ones home and safe? NO. We had parades! We banned together no matter what religion or station because America was a people of sacrifice in those times. Sacrifice was no stranger in those days anyways.

We look at WW2 pictures of war torn country side and watch the latest war series to come out, showing gore beyond measure. We accept these images and films as the truth of war. What makes it more acceptable is that it is in the past. Something that is more like fiction to us than reality. This was reality to our grandparents. They do not complain about the gore that is shown. They choose to watch or not to watch but don't make a fuss about it. It is in the memory of those fallen. It is time to stop living in a false reality of sunshine and giggles. Yes, be a happy person. Be a good person. Be an optimist! That is all great. Just know what reality is and don't deny recognition to those who have to live it.

War has not changed. It is still the bloody monstrous thing that you see in films. Technology has made things a bit cleaner. The jungles and grasslands have been traded in for sand dunes and a hot sun. The enemy has not changed. They will kill themselves to kill you. The biggest difference is the media. Our enemy uses our own media against us. American media is among the most moronic industries in the world. They twist things in a way that most people would call lying. They are cowards, afraid of standing strong on anything, yet spew venom upon our leadership. They celebrate death all the time. We watch. They are neither cold or hot. Luke warm. I don't need to say the rest. Yet we hang on their every word. Yes, of course there are those who are the exception! I say that for those who will only argue for political correctness...BUT this is a blog, I have the right to free speech and will not entertain any such trivial arguments...now I'm out of PC'ness.

Here are some more words.

Pearl Harbor.

9/11.

Two horrifying Surprise attacks on U.S. soil taking thousands upon thousands of lives.

We answered Japan as a country unified. We stood up strong, no matter the cost and hit them in the heart. We told them that this was not tolerated nor acceptable Human behavior. We then went on to fight for Humanity. No one complained. They just did their job. Just because it is "history" doesn't mean it was any different than what we went to Iraq for.

We as a country "forget" way too easily. lots of people ask, " Why did we go to war?"

How could we NOT go to war?!?! We were attacked in our heart. BY SURPRISE! WITH OUR OWN PLANES! There were not too many Americans out there who didn't want us to retaliate. Accept Susan Sarandon....and Barbara Streisand.

The purpose for going into such a hazardous environment was not for our egos or for political correctness, but for Justice. It was for the same reasons that we as a nation defended ourselves against the evils that were presented upon us by Japan and then the threat against humanity by Hitler. This my friends, THIS is what made us the " Super Power" in the world. By helping others we helped ourselves. Are we not a country made up of other countries? We are in essence defending our heritage across the globe. We are standing for what is right. Justice for All. Not just on U.S. soil and make no mistake, our soil CAN be taken away from us if we do not defend it, just as our freedom was taken on Dec 7, 1941 and September 11, 2001.

I just ask that before anyone speaks about what THEY want out of the war or what THEY think is right, that they sincerely consider who is REALLY paying the price. Suddenly your opinion doesn't mean squat. Here is another thing to think about... Don't feel sorry for the troops out there. I asked Evan if he ever felt that he shouldn't be over there fighting or if any soldiers didn't want to be there. He replied saying that there were very very few who "wussed" out and wanted to go home. Almost all of us wanted to be there. It was our job. We were dedicated to defending the country.... They chose this job. This is what they signed up for. They are soldiers. They are not over there complaining about being there to defend human rights. How do we have more of a say than THEY do? Don't try and take away their glory. Give them their victory. Don't question if it was "legal". Terrorism does not follow our laws. Don't analyze if it should be "done with" in the media. You are disrespecting everything that was done. It is not about you. It is not about me. Yes, there is danger of retaliation. That is something that our servicemen and women are trained to deal with. They are strong. They are ready. The fact is that we are not the ones actually out there and cannot pretend that our fears are more important than those who are being BRAVE over there.

So... Osama is dead. Good job guys! celebrate as much as you want. Thanks for burying him. Thanks for the truth that has been shared with Americans. So much has been hidden from the American public, but for good reason since a lot of the American public cant handle the truth haha... gruesome or not, this image of Osama in his death is necessary. No one has to look at it if they don't want to. Those who don't agree with the release need to just not look at it. Very simple. The fact of the matter is that it is the truth and that a lot of people need to see it for closure in the murders of their loved ones and they have the right to see it.

For those of us who are Christian, We should be rejoicing that an enemy of the Lord is gone and discovering what hell is like. No virgins...Pretty sure Hell is filled with town bicycles....DANG IT! haha...Seriously though, Christ is not afraid of the gruesome. The bible is full of all kinds of not so pleasant scenes including umm...the Crucifixion that we all just remembered on Good Friday. The thing that I cannot get out of my head is that this man HATED those who love the Lord. He HATED America because of our support of Israel. The promised land. He declared war on us. This is very personal to me as a Christian. I feel like I can celebrate in the victory of Good vs. Evil. Lord knows we needed it after 10 years of war with NOTHING to show accept dead Americans & debt, well, with a speed bump of Saddam's death i guess. We look around us and see the bad things happening in the world and even in our own nation. The tsunami, the 312 tornados, the earthquakes, the fires, the flooding. We see the end times approaching. Then we had last week.... The Royal Wedding( i know this sounds silly but it stills as a ray of sunshine) and Osama's death! It was a good week! A week of hope for the world" I think I will celebrate this in my heart for some time to come. Celebrate for my sweet husband whose life was changed by his experience with the evil over there. After all, what do we have if we do not keep alive our victories and dwell on defeats.

Kids say the Darndest Things!

So Jackson is saying more and more irresistibly cute things these days. This kid is hilarious. Here are a few memorable phrases & moments..

It was 2am the other night and Jackson was sick so he wasn't sleeping very well. We awoke to a little bird chirping

" CHICKEN! BAC bac bac bac bac BAC bac bac bac bac"

We were shopping at Costco and I needed to get this band-aid pack for my ravaged knee. Jackson reaches out to it wanting to see it with his come hither sign language. after looking at it for a minute he looks at me and says "NO no. NO no." then proceeds to put it back. I said, "Mommy needs this Jackson". He says, "Why?" I said, " because mommy fell down and hurt her knee". I showed him my knee and said ouch ouch. He says, "Oh....Ok".

His favorite thing to do these days is to watch out our front windows at the cars driving by. When he hears each one zoom around the corner he runs to the window and yells " Bye Bye!"

His FAVORITE things in the world are Trains. He almost always has a choo choo in his hands. When he plays with his Thomas the tank he says, " Thomas the Tank! CHoo CHoo" only it sounds more like "Lucky Day! Choo CHoo" ...cracks us up big time...

Almost every time he hears a Rooster (which is almost all the time) he stops and says "Its a Chicken! Bac Bac Bac"

He raises his hands in wonder as he says... "why?"

Goes over the trash and expresses his disgust with "yucky yucky"

Counts in the cutest little way... 1, 2, 3 .....5 .....9!

Of course EVERY time he needs or wants something, its "mommy mommy MOMMY!"

This morning when we all woke up he held up his bottle and says " Bobbi went bye bye.....why?"

We said, because you drank it all..

He says, " Oh"

When its nap time or bedtime. He brings his blankey and either Scout or Mickey over to us and says, "Nigh NIgh"

Then there is my favorite.

Lately he climbs up the stairs and looks at me and says "Goodnight Mom! See you Soon!" and sometimes I get an "I love you too".... MELTS MY HEART!

And of course many other words are the mix....

We just feel so blessed to be this little sweet hearted boy. He is so tender and has such a great sense of humor already. We feel so so lucky to be his parents!

My little snuggle bug...

No one knows how to get comfy like my almost 2 year old. This boy is on a constant quest for comfort. Evan and I crack up to find him in certain spots just snuggled into his blankey. This boy gives us so many precious moments. Love him.
