Friends...

  So the hardest thing about moving here has been leaving our family and friends. Days like today where we would normally get together with family for a BBQ are very hard for me. Ev is more used to it I think. You spend your whole life making these friends that you can always count on and you take them for granted...that they'll always be around. I forgot how hard it is to make friends that you can actually rely on.  Its not like you can go up to a kid in the sand box and just start playing with them hehe. People are friendly here it just takes a while to make good friends i guess...just like anywhere. So for now we are having fun as our little family. Don't get me wrong...we love being together its just when your used to being around family as a constant in your life it is very very hard to make them a variable.

    
    On a brighter note, we had a great day today! Boosted by our house cleaning spree yesterday we felt good about leaving the house and having fun! We went down to one of our favorite places...The Waiohai. It was sooo relaxing. Perfect weather, perfect scenery and perfect company. We are getting very excited for our visitors in a couple months and our vacation there. Now we are home relaxing and enjoying our nice clean house. In fact I think Im going to go make Ev turn OFF the Family Guy so we can watch a netflix flick =)
